WATERBRIDGE CONDOMINIUMS

  • Waterbridge Condominiums was a 368 unit, 2-story, slab on grade, flat roof, apartment to condominium conversion project.
  • Complete water system replacement for EACH building, sized to accommodate new washer / dryers in EACH unit.
  • Hot & cold water mains were installed between floors.
  • Washer/dryer scope included: new gas, electrical, waste, vent and concrete slab cutting & repairs inside the units.

WATERBRIDGE CONDOMINIUMS

  • We relocated the hot water, cold water, recirculation line & gas line to run in the first floor ceiling. The existing water system was located in the concrete slab and not properly sleeved. Over the years the elements in the concrete have reacted with the copper and deteriorated the copper pipes.
  • The existing water heater room had to be relocated and enlarged to sufficiently supply the apartments hot water with the addition of washers.

WATERBRIDGE CONDOMINIUMS

  • In some of the units, with the addition of the washers, we had to saw cut the concrete inside the unit and tie into the existing waste line located in the bathroom.
  • In the remaining units, with the addition of the washers, we tied the waste line into the existing lines in the ground along the outside of the building.
  • We use nail plates on every line that penetrates a stud to prevent accidental drilling into our lines. We also use fire caulking on lines that penetrate fire rated walls or ceilings.

WATERBRIDGE CONDOMINIUMS

  • The hot water, cold water, recirculation line and gas line were run in the first floor ceiling. The hot water line and recirculation line were insulated. All lines were properly strapped and isolated.
